Are you a bulk billing practice?

No. FTMC is a private billing practice. Payment is required on the day of consultation. Medicare rebates are processed immediately after payment.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

FTMC offers limited same-day appointments for urgent medical issues. Availability cannot be guaranteed. Appointments can be booked online from 7:30am on the day, or by calling 02 6555 0444 from 8:00am.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes, for eligible patients. Telehealth consultations are billed at the same rate as face-to-face appointments.

Can I get a script or referral without seeing the doctor?

In most cases, prescriptions and referrals require a consultation. You may submit a Routine Request via HotDoc to your regular GP, who will review your request and determine whether an appointment is required.

Can prescriptions be sent to my pharmacy?

Yes, electronic prescriptions can be sent to your nominated pharmacy where appropriate.

Can I get my test results without an appointment?

Most results require an appointment so they can be explained properly and follow-up arranged safely. In most cases you will receive an SMS from HotDoc with a secure link showing whether your GP has marked your results as normal or requiring a follow-up appointment.

If I don't hear from you, does that mean everything is normal?
