Appointments & Fees

Our consultation times are 15 minutes. Longer consultation times are available for complex health problems or counselling for emotional difficulties. Please inform the receptionist if you require extra time. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and doctor.

Emergencies will always be given priority and our reception staff will inform you if there is an extended delay.

Please notify us in advance if you are unable to attend your appointment.

Home Visits
Home visits are available for our regular patients whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery.
If appropriate the doctors will visit these patients after surgery hours. Please call the surgery to arrange for a home visit.

It is important to return to your doctor to discuss your results, however the doctor may suggest that you call the surgery to be advised of your results. In this case the receptionist will inform you of any comments the Doctor has made. If you results are urgent, you will be contacted by the practice.

Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, cheque, credit card or EFTPOS. Fees and charges remain variable for each patient depending on individual circumstances. In some circumstances eg Financial hardship the practice will bulk bill.

Prescription & Referral Requests
If your regular prescription has run out and you have seen a doctor within the last two months, a prescription can be requested over the phone and collected at reception for a fee of $10.00. We ask you allow AT LEAST 24 HOURS for prescription requests. For referrals to a specialist, you will need to make an appointment to see your doctor before you attend the specialist.
